At the Law Offices of William P. Lucke, we are committed to helping professionals, individuals, and businesses who have suffered, or may suffer, physical or financial injury. For more than 34 years, we have represented clients in the Oakland/Bay area in a wide variety of civil actions.

Our Story

The Law Offices of William P. Lucke first began in 1972 as the firm of Lucke and Brewer in Walnut Creek, California, primarily engaged in general Insurance Defense, Business Litigation and Claims Management.

In 1974 the firm became Hyde, Lucke, & Brewer. From 1974-1984 Mr. Lucke was responsible for the direct handling and ultimate trial of a wide range of Civil Litigation matters, with an emphasis on Product Liability, Business, Insurance, and Transportation Law. Mr. Lucke represented a diversity of clients including Hyatt Hotels, Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc., Oakland Unified School District of Alameda, and numerous National Insurance Carriers.

From 1984 to the present, Mr. Lucke has been practicing law in Oakland/Piedmont, San Francisco, and Lafayette/Martinez, California. Mr. Lucke has provided Trial Litigation Association and Litigation Consultation Support for numerous Bay Area law firms in large Civil Litigation cases. Mr. Lucke has handled various Insurance Coverage, Product Liability, and Professional Negligence cases to successful conclusion. Presently, Mr. Lucke is presently handling cases ranging from: Construction Litigation, Labor Disputes, and Personal Injury to Recovery Law, Insurance Coverage Issues, Commercial Disputes, and Professional Negligence.
